an example of resonant transfer

Imagine a series of dominoes being placed across the United States from San Francisco to Washington. Each successive domino would be slightly larger and heavier than the previous piece. By the time we reached Washington, the final domino might be as large as the Washington monument. By applying a slight push to the first domino, less than one pennyweight, each domino would be knocked over until the final piece was toppled. Through the introduction of a very small energy to a system the result is the production of enough energy to knock over the final very large and heavy domino.

What does this tell us about our current society and even our "energy problem" at large?

1BOG

Dear Virgance

1BOG Prequalification Agent

We are looking for a rockstar to help 1 Block Off the Grid with pre-qualification and customer service. (not exactly a rockstar but Here i am!)

In this capacity, the successful candidate will be...

+ responsible (we got three kids, but my wife says she has four...does that make me responsible or her?)

+ for calling (good thing i just upgraded to the unlimited calling plan with AT&T...oh...you said you was going to get me a new Iphone?)

...through all the leads in cities with 1BOG campaigns, finding out information we don't have, handling questions about the process, and sorting people by what type of renewable energy improvements they want. As we expand 1BOG program to more cities and multiple vectors, this position will be critical to maintaining the program's effectiveness. (let's roll. i am ready whenever you are. I am familiar with solar and the green world.)

The ideal candidate will have experience with...

+ customer service (ran my dad's retail business when i was 14. i have owned retail stores in 3 countries and did online sales for several years...can i sell you something ;-)

+ cold-calling (you call that work? i used to do this for fun when i was bored...)

+ or the renewable energy business. (please let tell me that you are just as excited about this as i am)

We are looking for somebody...

+ optimistic by nature (can my job title be eternal optimist?),

+ enthusiastic about change (anytime),

+ who is a quick study (twitter like quick or how?),

+ and who shares our passion for distributed solar. (so cool...you guys must have written this job offer JUST for me. nice. finally a job description that fits me. i never applied for a job before.)

We are committed to building a team of passionate and energetic people who share our mission to make world-changing activism standard practice. ( i love working in teams. especially when it's a green team. i am familiar with that. i am on several boards.)

Sound tempting? (it sure does...)

Send me your answer: lau@100pg.com
